Written for the wonderful saxophonist and composer, Steven Banks, and the Verona String Quartet, Visions of the Hereafter is a sonic meditation on the panels of the work by the same name of the artist, Hieronymus Bosch.  The individual movements take their titles from the panels of the Bosch:

The River to Hell
Terrestrial Paradise
The Fall of the Damned
Ascent of the Blessed
