Flow, my tears is a 7-minute elegy for solo viola, written in memory of Jacob Druckman, who was an early mentor of mine.  The piece twice quotes a falling fifth motive from Jacob’s work, Nor Spell, Nor Charm. My piece was originally written for Carol Rodland. There are solo versions of this work for viola, violin, ‘cello, and guitar.
